Producing Better Formed Parts
That’s quite a statement, considering all the brands and types of pumps that are available. How can we say that?
The best formed parts are those that are drawn down quickly, before the plastic has a chance to cool. You will get less thinning in the corners and on deep drawn parts with higher and faster vacuum. That’s where Becker comes in.
The efficiency of a vacuum pump has a direct relationship on the vacuum level in the receiver, and on the recovery time; and Becker pumps have higher efficiency than other pumps currently being used.
While it may appear that all oil-flooded vacuum pumps produce good vacuum, there is a world of difference. A Becker pump will pull a vacuum on a given receiver volume from, say, 677mbar to 982mbar in about 25% less time than the pump you are probably using now.
