Becker for the Plastics Industries

Producing Better Formed Parts

That’s quite a statement, considering all the brands and types of pumps that are available. How can we say that?

Thermoforming Machinery

The best formed parts are those that are drawn down quickly, before the plastic has a chance to cool. You will get less thinning in the corners and on deep drawn parts with higher and faster vacuum. That’s where Becker comes in. The efficiency of a vacuum pump has a direct relationship on the vacuum level in the receiver, and on the recovery time; and Becker pumps have higher efficiency than other pumps currently being used. While it may appear that all oil-flooded vacuum pumps produce good vacuum, there is a world of difference. A Becker pump will pull a vacuum on a given receiver volume from, say, 677mbar to 982mbar in about 25% less time than the pump you are probably using now.

Or, it means that, for a given length of time, you will be able to pull a deeper vacuum in your receiver, which corresponds to a better vacuum equalisation level, and better parts.

This is only two of the reasons we can say that using Becker pumps can improve your capability and let you make better parts. There are many others and if you give us a call, we can tell you more.

Becker’s Oil Lubricated Vacuum Pumps run cooler, have lower noise levels, are the easiest to service and maintain, use less kilowatts, have a semi-synthetic oil as standard and we think they look better too.

More Plastic Manufacturing Fields

In addition to Oil Lubricated Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps and Compressors, Becker has 100% Oil Free Rotary Vane, Dry Screw, Single and Double Stage Side Channel and Radial Vacuum Pumps and Compressors. We also have 100% Oil Free Rotary Vane and Single and Double Stage Side Channel Combined Vacuum and Pressure Pumps.

So whether you are doing injection moulding, plastic extrusions, stretch-blow moulding, thermoforming, compression moulding, laminating, vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding, vacuum bagging and fibreglass moulding or vacuforming, Becker will have the Pump or Compressor to suit your needs.

Becker Vacuum Pumps and Compressors can be used for transferring plastic granules to the hopper, vacuum conveying of plastic sheets, degassing of liquids, manufacturing of plastic pellets, extruding of plastic dies, drying, blowing, cleaning; you name it. If your machines rely on vacuum or pressure, you can rely on Becker.

Becker have supplied Vacuum Pumps and Compressors used in the Food Industry to manufacture such items as food containers, disposable cups, plates & cutlery, PET bottles and jars, microwave packaging, fridge liners, for the Automotive Industry to manufacture such items as bumper-bars, interior and other
exterior parts, under-the-hood car engine mouldings, utility covers, cushioning foams, thermal insulation foams, in the Building Industry to manufacture items such as window frames, securitywindows, plumbing pipes and guttering, electrical conduit, glazing, plastic laminates, electrical outlets and fixtures, and many other Industries to manufacture items such as compact discs and cases, shopping bags, and packaging foam.
