VACUUM PUMPS, COMPRESSORS and COMBINED PUMPS
When you are considering a pump for your application there are two categories of measurement performance to consider;
- The pump’s Open Flow Rate at the pump's inlet valve which is measured in the volume per unit of time; for example Cubic Metres per Hour (m3/h) or Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) and,
- The pump’s Maximum Vacuum which is measured by pressure; for example Millibars (mbar), Pounds per Square Inch (psi), torr (Torr), and Atmospheres (atm) to name a few.
